History:
(Challengers of the Fantastic #1 (bts)) - The African nation of Gorilla City fell to communist forces and was renamed Gorillagrad. Kragoff, also known as the Red Ghost, was appointed as Gorillagrad's Secretary of State. In Ben "Rocky" Grimm's words, Gorillagrad has been "nothing but trouble" ever since.
(Challengers of the Fantastic #1) - "Four Against the Unknown" - Secretary of State Kragoff found himself at the League of United Nations under the mediation of United States Senator Ben "Rocky" Grimm demanding that Gorillagrad be given sovereignty over the African nation of Wakanda. Kragoff and his simian associates, Comrade Grodd and Congo-Red, contended that primates had ancestral rights to all of Africa and thus claimed sovereignty over Wakanda as well (conveniently leaving out the fact that Homo Sapiens are primates too!). But Bronze Tiger, the King of Wakanda, was not about to surrender his country without a fight. Before a solution could be agreed upon, Senator Grimm had to abruptly abandon the mediation session when he was called back to Challenger Mountain to meet with Uatu the Guardian.
(Challenger of the Fantastic #4) - The Communists of Gorillagrad began their march to conquer the world, and Bronze Tiger joined forces with the Challengers of the Fantastic to stop the menace of Kragoff, Comrade Grodd, and Congo-Red

In the MU, the Red Ghost's first name is Ivan, and he possesses invisibility and intangibility powers. None of this has been confirmed in the Amalgam universe.

Comrade Grodd
A citizen of Gorillagrad and an apparent communist, Comrade Grodd was present at the League of United Nations when Red Ghost claimed sovereignty over Wakanda in the name of Gorillagrad in CHALLENGERS OF THE FANTASTIC (vol. II) #1. Later, in CHALLENGERS OF THE FANTASTIC (vol. II) #4, Comrade Grodd, Red Ghost, and Congo-Red faced off against the Challengers of the Fantastic and Bronze Tiger after the communists of Gorillagrad began their march to conquer the world.
Comrade Grodd is an amalgam of Red Ghost's Super Apes of the Marvel Universe and Gorilla Grodd (Grodd) of the DC Universe.

Congo-Red
A citizen of Gorillagrad and an apparent communist, Congo-Red was present at the League of United Nations when Red Ghost claimed sovereignty over Wakanda in the name of Gorillagrad in CHALLENGERS OF THE FANTASTIC (vol. II) #1. It was at this mediation session that Congo-Red articulated that primates have ancestral rights to all of Africa and shall be oppressed no longer.
Congo-Red is an amalgam of Red Ghost's Super Apes of the Marvel Universe and Congorilla (Congo Bill) of the DC Universe.

"Moon Boy"
Although unnamed in the comic, a creature resembling Moon Boy of Marvel's Earth-616 was present at the League of United Nations when Red Ghost claimed sovereignty over Wakanda in the name of Gorillagrad in CHALLENGERS OF THE FANTASTIC (vol. II) #1. This Amalgam Universe version of "Moon Boy" was most likely another communist of Gorillagrad and thus affiliated with Red Ghost, Comrade Grodd, and Congo-Red.
"Moon Boy" is an Amalgam Universe version of Moon Boy of the Marvel Universe with elements of Kragoff's Super Apes thrown in.
