History: (X-Force
I#129) - X-Force farm teams member Anti-Matter was seen at the X-Force
recruitment drive in the Mojave Desert, where a Channel 10 news
reporter noticed him and asked if he would introduce himself. Grabbing
the microphone from the reporter, Anti-Matter introduced himself by
revealing his real name and announced himself as being from "the
greatest city in the world:" New York.
Comments: Created by Peter Milligan and Duncan
Fegredo.
I would like to point out that his real name is Arlo Summers, which suggests that he could be connected to Marvel's "Summers Family Tree," which includes Cyclops, Havok and Phoenix of the X-Men, as well as Corsair of the Starjammers (and now Vulcan!). There may not be any connection whatsover but it just seems odd that his last name is Summers and so many other mutants in the Marvel Universe are also named Summers. It's perhaps worth at least some speculation.
It was impossible to determine
Anti-Matter's height and weight, as he was only seen on one panel and
was not near any character whose official height and weight had been
determined.
