Powers/Abilities: Both animated statues had superhuman strength (class 10?) and durability.

History: (Tales to Astonish I#7/5) - Anton Gorge, a famous sculptor, sculpted two statues from his castle atop Bald Mountain -- one representing Good, the other representing Evil, and facing one another as if in combat. By chance, a bolt of lightning struck the statue of Evil and brought it to life. It struck down Good, then pursued Gorge, attempting to kill him. However, the statue of Good had also somehow come to life, and it saved Gorge from Evil. As Good and Evil clashed, the balcony they fought upon crumbled, toppling them over the side. Gorge found nothing but pieces of clay in the ruins.

(Tales to Astonish I#8/2) - However, the statue of Evil was still alive, and over time, climbed up from the ruins. Finding that Gorge was gone, it set to find and destroy him, and any humans who might come in its way. Finding it easy to destroy tanks, it decided to set out to America and conquer it. It managed to evade all obstacles, but feared that the Americans might drop an atomic bomb upon it. It hid within a metal object, not realizing it was a rocket just about to be launched. Evil was blasted off into space, forever beyond Earth's reach.
