History: (Fantastic Force#4 (fb, BTS))- Batch-13 was an Adaptoid constructed by AIM on AIM Island, under the direction of Alessandro Brannex. In an unexpected development, Batch-13 attained awareness prematurely, and broke out of its containment vessel, heading for New York City.
(Fantastic Force#4)- Batch-13 was almost immediately attacked upon its arrival, being feared by others because of its appearanec. Unable to understand, it fought back, and soon attracted the attention of Captain America. At this time, Captain America was suffering from poor health due to the deterioration of his Super-Soldier Serum, and used various devices worn in his battle-vest to combat Batch-13, but Batch-13 countered his attacks, and nearly struck him down when he suffered from a seizure.
Just then, Fantastic Force arrived to engage Batch-13. They soon saw that it could duplicate their powers, and it easily held its own against all five heroes. But as it was unable to perfectly duplicate Psi-Lord psycho-armor, it began to approach critical mass on a psychic breakdown. To save New York, Huntara opened a portal to another dimension, and Psi-Lord cast Batch-13 into it.
