History: (Spider-Man I#49 (fb) - BTS) - Coldheart was an employee of a top secret government agency, where she worked as a costumed field operative. One day, her son died/was murdered and she was sent spiraling into madness.

(Spider-Man I#49) - Breaking into the government agency she worked for, Coldheart steals her costume, then fights her way out. Later, she waits in the shadows, listening to a police radio that says Spider-Man is confronting the Hobgoblin, who is attempting to kidnap his son. As Spider-Man swings into action, Coldheart freezes his webline, sending him crashing through a table. This gives Hobgoblin enough time to escape with his son, Jay. Coldheart rushes at Spider-Man, but Spidey easily evades her swords, and kicks her in the face, letting him catch up with the Hobgoblin. Spider-Man fights Hobgoblin on the roof of the building, but the Hobgoblin, realizing he's losing, throws a pumpkinbomb on the roof, sending his son flying. Spider-Man jumps after Jay, saving him, but when he looks up, Coldheart has a blade under his chin, freezing him. Jay begs her to leave Spider-Man alone, and Coldheart is so touched she just leaves them to go chase the Hobgoblin.

(Civil War#1 (fb) - BTS) - At some point Coldheart was caught and imprisoned at the Raft, but she escaped during a mass breakout.

(Civil War#1) - Coldheart hid out in Stamford, Connecticut together with Speedfreek, Nitro and Cobalt Man. They were found by the New Warriors, who were filming the second season of their reality show. Coldheart saw them when she brought out the trash and warned the others. In the fight she was defeated by Namorita and Night Thrasher. She was seemingly killed moments later when Nitro exploded.

(Marvel Holiday Special 2011/1 - BTS) - She got better somehow and ended up in prison again. She escaped prison shortly before Christmas.

(Marvel Holiday Special 2011/1) - While thinking about her Mohawk heritage Coldheart stole a bag of money and escaped Spider-Man after a short fight. She bought presents, a Christmas tree and two puppets. Completely delusional she pretended the puppets were her family and celebrated Christmas with them. Spider-Man reported her to the police, who returned Coldheart to prison. In her cell she planned her revenge against Spider-Man again when she suddenly saw a present from Spider-Man at her cell's window. She opened it and inside was the photograph of her son and husband she had left behind in the apartment where she got caught. She felt a bit better for the moment.

SECRET WARS II HAPPENED

(All-New, All-Different Avengers#8 (fb) - BTS) - Coldheart was imprisoned by S.H.I.E.L.D. in Pleasant Hill where her reality was rewritten by a Cosmic Cube.

(All-New, All-Different Avengers#8) - Freed from her false reality Coldheart caused havoc in the streets of Pleasant Hill impaling Nova (Sam Alexander) on one of her swords.

Comments: Created by Howard Mackie and Tom Lyle

...and she was never seen again...until she returned in Civil War#1.

The Mackie formula back at work... a pinch of mystery, a dollop of hype, and a spoonful of grim and gritty

I assume the mass breakout was the one from New Avengers I#1-4.

Coldheart has an entry in the Spider-Man - Back in Black Handbook. Her real name was revealed in that entry.
