Powers/Abilities: Carl Delandan wore a S.H.I.E.L.D. battlesuit which included an energy pistol. He also wielded Baron Strucker's Satan Claw, a glove with clawed fingers, knock-out gas, an electrified energy field, and enhanced strength.

History: (Marvel Team-Up I#95 (fb) - BTS) - Carl Delandan was a rogue S.H.I.E.L.D. agent whose corruption was found out by former S.H.I.E.L.D. agent Mockingbird. When Delandan learned that she had evidence implicating him, he ordered S.H.I.E.L.D. agents under his command to kill her on sight, claiming she was a rogue. He also claimed she was out to assassinate Nick Fury, and had a Nick Fury LMD brought in to fool her. However, the real Nick Fury suspected what Delandan was up to, and took the LMD's place.

(Marvel Team-Up I#95) - Spider-Man inadvertantly helped Mockingbird escape the S.H.I.E.L.D. agents sent after her, but Delandan had him brought to S.H.I.E.L.D. Headquarters to trick him into aiding him in capturing Mockingbird. However, Spider-Man realized instantly that the "LMD" of Nick Fury was the genuine article, and Fury soon let him know what was going on. When Mockingbird arrived at S.H.I.E.L.D. Headquarters, Spider-Man engaged her in combat, just to draw Delandan out.

Delandan finally entered the fray himself after hearing Mockingbird say that her evidence was on microfilm in one of her earrings. He quickly destroyed the earring and defeated both heroes in battle, planning to cover up their deaths, but then Nick Fury revealed to Delandan how he had deceived him, and that all that Delandan had confessed had been taped on S.H.I.E.L.D.'s security cameras. Although Delandan was captured, Mockingbird was accidentally shot down by the agents Delandan had commanded, and she spent some months in the hospital recovering. Delandan was expelled from S.H.I.E.L.D.
