Powers: Dryminextes could possess and subsequently control humans. He likes to make the rhyme.
History: (Marvel Team-Up I#32) - Dryminextes sought to curry
favor from his master Satan by destroying his rebellious son,
Daimon. He possessed Wyatt Wingfoot, of the Keewazi tribe of
Native Americans. Wyatt's father, Silent Fox, contacted Johnny
Storm, who was friends of Wyatt, and requested his assistance in
the matter. Storm sought the aid of Daimon Hellstrom, noted
demonologist to help exorcise the demon.
As the heroes arrived in the Oklahoma reservation, Dryminextes
forced Wyatt to attack and attempt to strangle Storm, who was
reluctant to use his flame powers against his friend. Daimon
subdued Wyatt/Dryminextes with a blast of hellfire, but Daimon
and Johnny soon found themselves under attack by the Keewazi, who
were similarly possessed (by Dryminextes or unnamed allies). As
Daimon struggled, his "darksoul" (evil, demon-half)
climbed to the surface, causing him to use potentially lethal
force against the Keewazi. Johnny saw this and flew down to stop
him. Daimon, now out of control, attacked Johnny subduing and
choking him (which was just as Dryminextes had planned it).
However, as Daimon was choking Johnny, he came back to senses,
and forced his darksoul back down inside himself. Johnny blinded
the Keewazi with a burst of bright flame, giving Daimon the
change to forcibly exorcise the demon. Daimon either destroyed
the demon, or banished it back to Hell.
