Powers/Abilities: As a qualifier for the Galactic Marathon, Figillulli undoubtedly possessed superhuman speed to the extent of making him one of the fastest beings in the galaxy. Figillulli also possessed telepathy, which is a natural Fomalhauti trait.

History: (Quasar#58)- Figillulli was among the beings selected by the Runner to compete in the Galactic Marathon, presumably winning this honor in a contest with other super-fast beings on Fomalhauti. Figillulli was among the athletes training for the Galactic Marathon when the Eternal Makkari arrived. Makkari begged Runner to admit him into the race, but Runner was reluctant, as Makkari had already been disqualified in the Earth Competition (Quasar#17). Makkari convinced Runner to give him a shot, if he could beat the time of the slowest competitor, Figillulli, he could take his place. Makkari easily beat Figillulli's time, and Runner casually informed the devastated Fomalhauti that he was disqualified. Figillulli slithered off in tears.

Two Foumalhauti were later seen as spectators on the "Finishing Line World" as Makkari defeated the Runner, presumably one of them was Filligulli, but that cannot be confirmed. They could easily have been his relatives, wondering why he didn't appear at the finish line.

Though Figillulli never made it into the Galactic Marathon, he did train with the other competitors for some time under Runner, so I've listed them as affiliations.

It is unknown if Runner brought Figillulli back for another race, or if he’d even accept after being snubbed.

I refer to Filligulli as a male, but the Fomalhauti’s gender was never revealed.
