Powers/Abilities: The Hoarfen is an immense wolf-creature, at least 50' tall at the shoulder. It possesses the equivalent of Class 100 strength, and is durable enough to resist direct blows from the hammer of Thor (well, a Thor, anyway), as well as the combined assaults of members of the Pantheon and warriors of Asgard. It is presumably immune to cold, and may have other ice powers, as yet unobserved.
History:
(Incredible Hulk II#422 (fb) - BTS) - The Hoarfen was produced by the union of
Fenris Wolf and the sister of the Frost Giantess Siingard. It's existence was
kept secret as the monster was used to guard the castle of Siingard, though
whispered rumors of its existence leaked out.
(Incredible Hulk II#422) - When the Hulk, Betty Banner, the Warriors Three, and a few members of the Pantheon pursued Agamemnon to Siingard's castle, Siingard unleashed the Hoarfen on them in an effort to protect Agamemnon. Siingard blew the horn to summon the beast, commanding it to kill all down below, but to kill the green one first. Just then, Hector flew in and snatched Agamemnon, but the thunderous approach of the Hoarfen made Hector drop Agamemnon into the Hulk's hand below. Unwilling to listen to Siingard's commands to stop, the Hoarfen grabbed the Hulk and Agamemnon in his jaws, killing them both.
(Incredible Hulk II#423) - The Hoarfen remained relatively unphased by the combined attacks of the other invaders, but when the Hulk and Agamemnon were restored to life by Hela, they reappeared in the surprised monster's mouth. The Hulk forced Hoarfen's mouth to open too widely, fracturing his mandible, and the Hoarfen fled the scene.
(Avengers VI#1 (fb) - BTS) - Hoarfen found his way from the Netherrealms to Earth.
(Avengers VI#1) - Though Hoarfen was weakened from the long voyage, the shrunken frost-wolf was still a viable threat. Hercules and the Avengers fought Hoarfen in Central Park. They knocked Hoarfen out by deflecting Mjolnir off of Captain America's shield, which was held by Hercules. After the battle Hercules carried Hoarfen back to his native realm through a portal opened by Thor.

Quoth Cassiopeia, "Now it's Frost Giants and Wolves? Boy, you people will procreate with anything that's not nailed down, won't you?"
Hoarfen supposedly died during the Ragnarok in Thor II#85.
