Powers/Abilities: The Janissary uses a large number of high-tech weapons, the brands and models of which he is exceedingly proud, and he tends to name them as he uses them. Amongst these weapons are the Mark VII rapid-fire repeaters, which shoot energy blasts from his backpack and hip units; the Zedlander-8 Neurotox grenade, which releases a hellishly green gas able to incapacitate others; the Futuria-99 Netspray, a gun which can form and eject a net able to contain others; unnamed containment units courtesy of Revengeware; and the Painmaster Model 26, able to subject its target to excruciating agony.
He also wears a suit of padded body armor.
History: The Janissary's origins are unknown.
(Avengers I#376 (fb) - BTS) - The Janissary was hired by Terrigene to capture the Inhuman Sporr.
(Avengers I#376) - The Janissary defeated and captured Sporr, though one of his spawned forms escaped to seek aid from fellow Inhuman Crystal. He brought Sporr to Terrigene, then encountered Crystal, who managed to knock him out by smashing him against the wall with a gust of wind.
