Powers/Abilities: King Kobra was a capable leader of outlaws, and a decent hand with a gun.
History: (Kid Colt, Outlaw#98)- King Kobra was the leader of a band of outlaws who came to have dominion over an entire valley. Their notoriety eventually led Sam Hawk, the Manhunter on their trail, but one of King Kobra's men, Weasel, infiltrated Hawk's posse. When Kid Colt learnt Hawk was after King Kobra, he decided to take up arms against Kobra himself in order to save Hawk, but his attempt to infiltrate Kobra's gang was thwarted by Weasel, who knew Colt was aided Hawk.
Kobra allowed Colt a chance to fight, and gave him five minutes to run. Colt managed to ride back to Kobra's bunkhouse, and made it inside before Kobra and his gang arrived. Kobra had three of his men rush the bunkhouse, but Colt defeated them all. When Kobra himself went in to check on them, Colt attacked and defeated him. He then switched their clothes, and convinced Kobra's gang that he ("Kobra") had defeated "Kid Colt", and tied him up. When Sam Hawk arrived with his posse, Colt turned on the gang, aided Hawk. He rode away before Hawk could capture him himself, and Kobra was left tied up for Hawk to apprehend.
