Group Membership: Gods of Asgard
Affiliations: Gods of Asgard
Enemies: (former) Thor
Known Relatives: Ve (possible father, alias Lodur, SEE COMMENTS)

Base of Operations: Asgard
First Appearance: Thor I#289 (October, 1979)

It is unknown if he has any energy manipulative powers, but he seems skilled in combat with a sword and shield.
History: (Thor I#289)- Lodur was one of the Asgardian gods who stood en masse with the other immortals of Asgard as Thor then in self-imposed exile tried to gain entry in order to consult with his father over the threat the Celestials posed to Midgard (Earth). Since Odin was not present to allow Thor entry, Lodur and the gods stood guard on Bifrost and forced him back. Thor became hostile at their interference and shattered Bifrost to force Lodur and the others back, but then the Lady Sif entered her life force into the Destroyer and from within it, she struck Thor and tossed him off Bifrost as Lodur and the others watched.
Comments: Adapted by Roy Thomas, Keith Pollard and Chic Stone
In Norse/German myth, Lodur is the German name of Ve just as they knew Thor as Donner, Odin as Wotan and Vili as Hoenir. However, in the Marvel Universe, it is possibly conceivable that the figure that Thor met could be Ve’s son instead of Ve, Odin’s brother, himself, but this is debatable.
Lodur supposedly died during the Ragnarok in Thor II#85.
