His base, the Warehouse, was supposed to be more secure than Fort Knox (at least in MC's opinion). MC lived on the top floor, which had a pool and a helipad. It functioned as a laboratory, safehouse, and distribution point all in one. Armed guards watched the armored elevator, the only other means of reaching the top floor. The elevators contained video cameras as well as chain guns to take out unwanted passengers.
History:
BTS - With the temporary absence of the Kingpin (@ Daredevil I#300),
smaller organizations, like MC's crack factory, flourished.
(Punisher II#71 - BTS) - The Punisher took out several members of MC's organization, though Ennio and Recoil both escaped.
(Punisher II#72) - MC sent Recoil to help back up Ennio when the Punisher went after him. Recoil ended up crashing his own car, and the Punisher beat Ennio until he gave up MC's location. Ennio was then arrested.
(Punisher II#73) - Recoil retrieved Ennio from police custody and brought him back to the Warehouse, where MC had Recoil kill Ennio for suspicion of betraying him. After an initial surveillance purchase, disguised as a would-be customer, the Punisher infiltrated the ground level of the Warehouse via a pair of armored robots, sent by Microchip. It blew open the elevators, activating the chain guns and generating enough smoke to blind the cameras. Meanwhile, the Punisher entered on foot.
(Punisher II#74) - Forcing open the damaged elevator doors with a crowbar, the Punisher rode the top of the elevator car to the top floor, where MC sent Recoil after him again. After a prolonged battle, Castle stopped Recoil and confronted MC at gunpoint. Before he could fire, however, VIGIL arrived and tried to stop both of them.
(Punisher II#75) - Taking advantage of the distraction caused by VIGIL and the violent return of Recoil, MC took off in his personal helicopter. The Punisher grabbed the chopper's landing gear before it could get too high and fought his way inside, only to be knocked back out by a monkey wrench to the back from MC. The Punisher managed to damage the aircraft's hydraulics and it crashed into a water fountain. The Punisher got the drop on MC once again, but VIGIL agent Mike "Rusty" Nails arrived and tried to take them both in alive. Castle tossed his own gun to MC, knowing that Nails would be forced to kill MC when he turned the gun back on either of them--which he did.
