(Darkhold#1) - While attempting to set a firebomb in the Library of Congress, Morton was approached by the Darkhold Dwarf. At first Morton thought he was his parole officer, the Dwarf corrected him, but said he could help take his career in a whole new direction.
(Darkhold#2) - The Dwarf gave Morton a page from the Darkhold. Morton used it to summon the Other and activate the page, which casted a Spell of Finding.
(Darkhold#2 - BTS) - This spell summoned a Hellhound that led Morton to General Mark Hamilton, who agreed to give Morton access to a Gamma bomb because he knew the blast would be blamed on terrorists and give the country purpose. Morton went to the warehouse where Thurnton has stashed the bomb and set it to explode.
(Darkhold#2) - When Vicki Montessi showed up and attempted to disarm it, he used one of "Hamilton's toys" to electrocute her. When he figured out how to set it to kill he fired at her again, but missed and accidentally hit the bomb. The timer malfunctioned and displaying random numbers. Realizing it could blow at any moment, Morton ran, but was stopped by Louise Hastings, who forced him at gunpoint to deactivate it. Morton was not entirley sure how to defuse it, but when Sam Buchanan arrived, he told them. Morton then grabbed the Darkhold page from Hastings and ran. Sam told him to give it back, which Morton responded to by eating the page. Morton was then torn to shreds by the Hellhound who needed to get to the page to merge with it.
(Darkhold#3) - Modred the Mystic animated Morton's corpse and used it as a puppet to illustrate his life story. When finished Modred burned the body to ash.

Morton was really grateful for what the Dwarf had done for him and even planned to get him flowers.
