Powers/Abilities: The Rescorlans may or may not possess superhuman strength. Their procreative process is allegedly embarrassingly difficult. They have two eyes, three fingers and an opposable thumb on each hand, three toes on each foot, enlarged sharp teeth, and an extended mandible (like a carnivore).

 

 

Traits: The Rescorlans are a race so repressed that everything is forbidden, with the exception of commerce and violence. They refer to everything by code, not by name, and are easily whipped into a frenzy by the mention of virtually any subject. However, because everything to them is obscene, they make no distinctions in the goods and services they will buy or sell, and they will deal with anything or anyone, as long as nothing is mentioned by name. They dress in shades of gray and, on festive occasions, brownish-gray.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

History:
(Avengers Spotlight#21 (fb) - BTS) - Eros visited Rescorla, offending one of the natives by making a comment about the weather, and that native attempted to eviscerate Eros, who used his emotion controlling powers to calm him.

(Avengers Spotlight#21 (fb) - BTS) - Heater Delight sold herself to Aaron the Aakon in order to escape the affections of Black Roger, and Aaron eventually sold her to the Rescorlans. She was placed in category C (partners), subsection Delta.

(Avengers Spotlight#21) - Eros returned to Rescorla, seeking Heater. Dispelling the anger of the same native as before (who was enraged that he had dared to return), Eros nicknamed that native "Axel" and had him seek out a category C-Delta. "Axel" brought Eros to Heater, but Eros felt he would be unable to pay for her, so he began haggling with "Axel," driving the Rescorlan into a giddy frenzy until he began screaming out his obsessions, such as sports, food, etc. With the Rescorlan distracted and humiliated, Eros fled with Heater. "Axel" soon recovered and led a contingent of Rescorlans in pursuit, but Eros escaped them all.
