History: (Vampire Tales#7) - Apparently human, unlike some of his demonically-powered comrades,

(Vampire Tales#8/2) - but possessing an unearthly aura and gaunt, haggard features so extreme they looked like he was faking them with make-up (but he wasn't),...

(Vampire Tales#7) - Rigor was one Apocalypse's enforcers, along with Phineas T. Coroner and Reaper. He was on hand when Morbius and Amanda Saint arrived in Gallow's Bend, though initially he held back and let the other enforcers confront the new arrivals.

(Vampire Tales#8/2) - After some of the others failed to eliminate the intruders by themselves, Rigor teamed with Reaper in an attempt to gun down Morbius in the town graveyard, but Morbius leapt over Reaper as he opened fire and landed behind the unsuspecting Rigor. Grabbing Rigor with an arm round his neck, Morbius gave him the fang treatment and drained him to apparent death, then threw his corpse at Reaper to distract him. Rigor's remains landed face down over a tombstone. Howie Rivers, the owner of Gallow's Bend amusement park, blew up the park to end the threat of Demon-Fire, so if Rigor wasn't dead as Morbius believed then when it blew up he wouldn't be likely to make it out of there.

   Not a whole lot of development on this guy. He appeared to be human, though Morbius did note he such a gaunt, haggard face that initially the living vampire assumed it had to be faked with make-up, and that he had an unearthly aura. Some Demon-Fire cult members were empowered by demons, but Rigor displayed no powers, so it's uncertain whether his looks alone signified a similar unholy influence or not. He was disgusted by Coroner's constant discussion of maggots.
