X Infinity Abyss #1 (2002) One of five altered duplicates of Thanos, possessed psychic powers; fought Spider-Man, Captain Marvel (Genis-Vell), others; apparently killed by Moondragon.

 

X-Factor (Cyclops, Marvel Girl (Phoenix), Beast, Iceman, Angel (Archangel); later Caliban, Skids, Rusty Collins, others) X-Factor I #1 (1991) The five original X-Men, posing as mutant hunters in order to secretly locate young mutants, also used identity of the X-Terminators, once hired by J. Jonah Jameson to hunt Spider-Man; after identities exposed, helped Spider-Man against forces of the Yellow Claw to aid Captain America and Frog-Man; disbanded.

 

X-Factor (Havok, Polaris, Strong Guy, Wolfsbane, Multiple Man, Forge, Quicksilver, Valerie Cooper, Mystique, Wild Child, Shard (hologram), Sabretooth) X-Factor I #71 (1991) US government-sponsored band of mutants, teamed with Spider-Man against Shadowforce; disbanded.

 

X-Force (Cable, Cannonball, Meltdown, Warpath, Feral, Shatterstar, Siryn, Sunspot, Domino, Caliban, Bedlam, Peter Wisdom) X-Force #1 (1991) Group branched from New Mutants by Cable to take proactive role against threats to mutantkind, helped by Spider-Man against Juggernaut and Black Tom Cassidy; disbanded.

 

X-Man (Nate Grey) X-Man #1 (1995) Survivor from "Age of Apocalypse" timeline, possessed vast mental powers; befriended Spider-Man and teamed with him against Electro, Morbius, the Gauntlet; later apparently sacrificed life to protect the world.

X-Statix (Orphan, Venus Dee Milo, Anarchist, Deadgirl, Vivisector, Phat, El Guapo, Doop, others) X-Force #116 (2001) Publicity-oriented mutant super-team, formerly known as X-Force, briefly encountered Spider-Man while fighting Euro-Trash.

 

Xandu Amazing Spider-Man Annual I #2 (1965) Sorcerer, possessed the Wand of Watoomb, sought power; later sought to resurrect his beloved Melinda Morrison, encountered opposition from Doctor Strange, Spider-Man, others.

 

Xanja Web of Spider-Man #25 (1987) Cygnorian dictator, sought Cosmultigizer weapon to amplify his power, opposed by Vaalu, possessed minor criminal Arnold Strunk and used him to locate Cosmultigizer, encountered Spider-Man, defeated.

 

XP2000 Peter Parker:  Spider-Man #54 (2003) Robot designed by Edwin Hills to fight Spider-Man, defeated, testified against Hills and his associates.
