Zabo (Zabo Donalbain) Claws of the Cat #1 (1973) Brother and former bodyguard of Tigra's enemy Mal Donalbain, immensely strong but limited intellectually, fought Spider-Man and Tigra.

 

Zabu X-Men I #10 (1965) Sabretooth tiger from the Savage Land, lifelong companion of Ka-Zar, encountered Spider-Man alongside his master.

 

Zack Amazing Spider-Man I #439 (1998) Archaeologist over a thousand years in the future, discovered one of Spider-Man's web-shooters with Lana, inspired to consider becoming the first super-hero of Earth in centuries.

 

Zane, Donovan Spider-Man #82 (1997) Leader of ESU chapter of the Friends of Humanity, hired the Shocker and the Trapster to kill Paul Stacy, forced to call them off by Norman Osborn.

 

Zaran (Maximillian Zaran) Master of Kung Fu I #77 (1981) Assassin who uses wide variety of weapons, enemy of Shang-Chi, member of Batroc's Brigade, allegedly once joined several other villains in attacking Spider-Man and Captain America on behalf of Doctor Doom.

 

Zarathos Marvel Spotlight #5 (1971) Demon, formerly merged with John Blaze as Ghost Rider, used as pawn of Beyonder and Mephisto against Spider-Man as test of humanity's worth; later escaped to become greater threat to Ghost Rider (Ketch) and others.

 

Zarrko the Tomorrow Man (Artur Zarrko) Journey into Mystery I #86 (1962) Human from 23rd century, would-be world-conqueror, utilizes advanced technology, frequently clashes with Thor, also fought the Fantastic Four; Spider-Man and other heroes became involved in a conflict between him and Kang.

 

Zeitgeist (Larry Ekler) Captain America I #267 (1982) Psychotic, imagined himself defender of the common people as Everyman; after initial clash against Captain America with electrical sword, battled Spider-Man and Mister Fantastic using Doctor Faustus's strength-absorbing absorbascann; later killed many super-heroes and super-villains in new identity.

 

Zero-G (Alex Power) Power Pack I #1 (1984) Oldest member of Power Pack, controls gravity, formerly known as Gee and Destroyer, temporarily member of the New Warriors as Powerpax/Powerhouse with his siblings' powers.

 

Zhered-Na Adventure into Fear #15 (1973) Sorceress of ancient Atlantis; predicted many things, including the career of Spider-Man.

 

Zimmer, Mickey UK Spider-Man Annual (1982) Daily Bugle photographer sent by JJJ to cover the arrival of "Starngore" in Central Park; Jameson described him as the paper's best.

Z'nox X-Men I #65 (1970) Extraterrestrials from planet Z’nox in the Andromeda Galaxy, invaded Earth prior to modern age but failed, sought conquest again but were foiled by the X-Men, later employed Senator Ward in third effort but were defeated by Spider-Man, Arthur Stacy, and Ranger.

 

Zola, Arnim Captain America I #208 (1977) Nazi scientist, redesigned body so that brain was in chest, fought Captain America and others; created proto-husk duplicates of many people, including Ben Parker, May Parker, and Gwen Stacy.

 

Zombie (Simon William Garth) Menace #5 (1953) Businessman resurrected by voodoo queen Layla using amulets of Damballah; virtually mindless, forced to obey amulet holder; Lilith, daughter of Dracula, attempted to use him in her plans but was stopped by Spider-Man and Hannibal King.

 

Zota, Carlo Fantastic Four I #66 (1967) Enclave member, Spanish electronics technician.

 

Zsaji Marvel Super-Heroes Secret Wars #4 (1984) Alien healer, met Earth's heroes (including Spider-Man) on Beyonder's Battleworld, died healing heroes from Doctor Doom's attack

 

Zzzax Incredible Hulk II #166 (1973) Electromagnetic being, fought the Hulk, the Avengers, Iron Man (Stark), dissipated after each defeat. Recreated by the Paralyzer, defeated by Spider-Man, the Midnight Sons, and Spider-X.
