Powers/Abilities: Syphonn has a high degree of cosmic power, which gives him the ability to animate dead tissue and control minds. Syphonn can absorb energy to empower himself. He can also generate deadly, life-draining energy spikes from his hands.

He also used the Conqueror Wheel.

History: Syphonn is a denizen of the Negative Zone and commands an army of subordinates. The origins of his power are unrevealed.

(Warlock#1) Syphonn takes control of Captain Mar-Vell’s skeleton and forces it to kill Elysius while taking the Nega-Bands and framing Drax the Destroyer for crimes. While this is going on Syphonn is informed by a minion that his plan is going smoothly. After the report he kills the minion for interrupting him to inform him of a minuscule detail.

(Warlock#2) When Adam Warlock stops Mar-Vell’s corpse, after it transferred the Nega-bands to Drax, he mind scans it and becomes aware of Syphonn--this process is painful to Syphonn .

 (Warlock#3) Syphonn is showing his Conqueror Wheel, a portal to the positive universe, to Annihilus and Blastaar. As Drax begins to open the portal Warlock stops him but soon the Portal is open enough for Warlock, Drax, Gamora, Pip, and Genis-Vell to enter the Negative Zone and confront Syphonn.
    Syphonn surprises them and steals Warlock’s soul gem.

(Warlock#4) Syphonn prepares the journey to the Positive Universe but is stopped by Warlock. Annihilus and Blastaar realized that Syphonn was going to betray them, and they turn on him. Defeated and without allies, Syphonn uses the Soul Gem on Warlock, but can’t control it. The Gem turns on him and his soul is forced to flee into a Power Portal in our universe.

Syphonn’s Minion’s were red aliens that basically did every thing he said and were scared to death of him.

Captain Marvel’s Corpse

 

Syphonn used his powers to reanimate Captain Mar-Vell’s Corpse. The Corpse killed Elysius and some others, framing Drax. After giving the Nega-Bands to Drax. It collapsed and Genis reburied it on Titan.

Conqueror Wheel

The Conqueror Wheel was a portal Syphonn created to allow access to our Positive Universe it was powered by a person wearing the Nega-bands. It opened the portal that allowed Warlock into the Negative Zone.
