History: (Sensational Spider-Man '96 Annual/2 (fb) - BTS) - At some point in time, the Void-Eater captured Jessica Drew and placed her within its dimension, holding her within a golden field of energy that served as one of its eyes.
(Sensational Spider-Man '96 Annual/2) - When Spider-Woman (Julia Carpenter) and Lindsay McCabe came to the Void-Eater's dimension to save Jessica, the Void-Eater attacked them. However, Jessica was awakened by a spell apparently cast by Shadowoman, which restored all of her lost powers to her. She saved Lindsay and the other Spider-Woman from the Void-Eater and made it back through Shadowoman's portal and closed it before the Void-Eater could reach them.
Comments: Created by Mark Gruenwald and Pat Broderick.
This story was meant to lead into a Spider-Woman/Spider-Woman team-up story in Spider-Man Team-Up, but it seems that Mark Gruenwald's death prevented any follow-up.
