History:
(Master of Fung-Fu I#90) - While in New York,
Shang-Chi and Leiko Wu decided to stay for a while. Leiko asked
Shang-Chi if they should pay avisit to her brother, the Chinese
ambassador David Wu. When the two of
them arrived at the embassy, David was in a meeting with the
police, so Leiko and Shang-Chi waited for the meeting to finish.
When the meeting ended, David was surprised to see his little
sister; Leiko asked David if they could stay with him for a while.
David answered that he had no UN duties until next season, so of
course they could stay. Leiko asked what the problem was with
the police. David replied that there had been lots of gang
violence lately, both in New Your and San Francisco, especially
with the Chinese community. There were problems with the ABC
(American-Born Chinese) and the new Chinese, but now the problem
seemed to be between the Chinese and the Japanese, mainly between
the Chinese Joy
Boys gang and the Japanese Golden Claws
gang.
Shang-Chi asked David what he wanted to do about the problem and
David answered “I really don’t know...”
(Master of Fung-Fu I#91 (fb)) - David spoke further with Shang-Chi and Leiko.
(Master of Fung-Fu I#91) - David and Leiko picked up
Shang-Chi up from the
police station. Shang-Chi told David that one of the Joy Boys had a gun
and that there was a meeting between the Joy Boys and the
Golden Claws that evening. David wanted to involve the police, but
Shang-Chi wanted no police involvement. David thought
Shang-Chi was crazy, but let him go.
(Master of Fung-Fu I#92) - Having tea at the embassy with Shang-Chi and his sister, David spoke about what had happened to them over the last couple of days. Suddenly a small child came rushing in through the door, wanting to talk with ambassador Wu. David asked her name; she replied "Angela". She also revealed that a monster attacked her grandmother’s grocery and she needed help. Shang-Chi advised that he and Leiko would bring the girl home and investigated the rumors about the so-called monster.
(Master of Fung-Fu I#93) - When Black Jack arrived at the embassy to tell Leiko and Shang-Chi that Mandy Greville had been kidnaped by a cult, they decides it was time to leave New York, so they said their farewell to David.

Ahh, this name reminds me of my time in Tennessee:
Dr: Welborn: "You're a yankee? I bet you don't even know how to woo a women. Watch this."
A receptionist walks by, he checks out her rear, and then goes, "WOOOOOOOOOOOO! "
