History:
(
Epic Illustrated#15/4: Dreadstar (fb) - BTS) - Amongst their plotting to end the Instrumentality-Monarchy War, Vanth and Syzygy put together what they called "Plan M."

(Epic Illustrated#15/4: Dreadstar (fb) - BTS) <A week before the main story> - When Vanth noted that Plan M required a lot of equipment, with the first step alone requiring a giant cargo ship, Syzygy explained that he knew that they could obtain such a ship from the Instrumentality on the mining colony on Tortorelzor, aka the Rock.

Vanth and Oedi subsequently infiltrated the Rock.

(Epic Illustrated#15/4: Dreadstar (fb)) - Vanth and Oedi ultimately departed in Ship #"Delta"457 from Hangar Deck #57.

They were instructed to return to the hangar twice and given a final warning...but nothing happened? (presumably they escaped and/or destroyed any Instrumentality forces that tried to stop them.

(Epic Illustrated#15/4: Dreadstar - BTS) - Aboard Ship #Delta457, renamed "Big Bundle," Vanth and Oedi allowed Syzygy to dock the Lightcutter II within the cargo ship, and they began making steps for the next step in Plan M.

Dreadstar / Reality-8116 primer

The original Epic Illustrated issue is old and grainy, with everything kind of gray. The images from its reprint in Dreadstar: The Beginning are a little more crisp, in general, but they are also a lot darker, to the point where you sometimes can't see things as clearly.
And then, after my oldest computer brokedown, I have been having issues communicating with my scanner. As a result, the best I can do is 100 DPI images...which suck.big_bundle-8116-e15-identified
If/when I can obtain better images, I may replace some/all of these.
And, on that same note, this the best scan I can do of the text identifying the ship's name (to the right). It's like a triangle, but the there is definitely a gap in the middle of the bottom line.
