was trapped in a secret government lab, his memories stolen from him,
when a lightning bolt struck the experimental tank he was being held
in. His skeleton having already been laced with the metal Adamantium in a
procedure that also granted him metallic claws, West was freed by the
bolt, which also bestowed upon him superhuman speed, rapid healing
factor and enhanced senses. Taking advantage of his newfound abilities,
West exacted
revenge on those who held him captive and stole his memories.

Escaping the facility, Logan
West became America's top assassin while fighting to uncover the
secrets of his past as the costumed Blade Runner.

To clarify, Amalgam Comics didn't really exist beyond those seen in the few DC/Marvel cross-overs. The titles you don't recognize are amalgams of similar Marvel and DC comics--Snood.
In case it's not obvious, Blade Runner is an amalgamation of Marvel's Wolverine (Logan/James Howlett) and DC's Flash (Wally West).
Blade Runner is the product of an article in Wizard: The Guide to Comics I#71 in which the staff of the magazine came up with their own ideas for amalgamated characters.
