History:
(Official Handbook of the Marvel
Universe: X-Men - Age of Apocalypse 2005 I#1) - The X-Ternal Candra
was the Benefactor of the Thieves Guild of New Orleans. One of the
guild's most talented recruits was young Remy LeBeau whose potential
caught Candra's eye.
(Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe: X-Men - Age of Apocalypse
2005 I#1) - When Apocalypse declared war on humanity, Candra and her
fellow X-Ternal Gideon were among his earliest recruits.
(X-Men Chronicles I#1 (fb) - BTS) - Candra and Gideon proved themselves
loyal to Apocalypse and soon joined his horsemen War and Death plus the
feral mutant Sabretooth to become En Sabah Nur's advance guard as he
began to foment mutant hysteria across the United States. He often sent
them into battle as his shock troops, causing growing fear among the
human population.
(X-Men Chronicles I#1 - BTS) - Apocalypse took Candra and the others
aboard his massive Celestial spawned spacecraft. He flew the vessel to
New York City where Candra served as his herald. Appearing as a giant
hologram over the city, she announced to the terrified human population
that the time of humanity had come to an end. They then flew to Cape
Citadel in Florida where the United States' stockpile of nuclear weapons
were stored. He ordered Sabretooth to lead Candra and the Horsemen on a
mission to secure the weapons. The attack on the base was monitored by
Magneto who concluded the time had come to take his X-Men and actively
oppose Apocalypse.
(X-Men Chronicles I#1) - The Horsemen had little trouble entering the
base, though Candra had a hard time obeying Sabretooth's orders and
preferred to handle things her way. When Sabretooth contacted Apocalypse
to announce the success of the mission, he was shocked when his master
issued new orders: they were to launch the missiles. Sabretooth did not
want to cause so much death and destruction, leading Apocalypse to
instantly turn on him. Candra was put in charge and got ready to crush
Creed by capturing him a telekinetic bubble.
(X-Men Chronicles I#1) - While Gideon worked on accessing the launch
codes, Candra and the others went outside to execute Sabretooth. Before
they could carry out their plan, they encountered Magneto and his X-Men.
Creed talked Candra into freeing him so he could help them defeat their
opponents. She complied, allowing Sabretooth to attack Magneto head on,
which created an opportunity for her too hit the X-Men's leader with a
telekinetic barrage. However, Candra was overwhelmed by the ferocious
approach of the X-Men's newest recruit Weapon X. She agreed to let
Sabretooth handle things and didn't react when Creed shamed her for this
failure. Instead, Candra focused her attention on Magneto and Jean Grey
who offered to keep her busy while Magneto went inside to stop Gideon.
(X-Men Chronicles I#1 - BTS) -
Magneto defeated Gideon before the missiles were launched, forcing
Apocalypse to summon Candra, War, Death and Gideon back to his ship.
Before leaving, he tried to kill the X-Men by firing his vessel's main
cannon. Magneto managed to deflect the blast in time.
(X-Men Chronicles I#1 - BTS) - Apocalypse returned to Manhattan with his
heralds and had little trouble conquering the island. He had his forces
begin work on his new, massive citadel headquarters.
(Gambit and the X-Ternals I#1 (fb) - BTS) - Candra remained loyal to
Apocalypse for most of his rise to power, even becoming one of his
Horsemen. She participated in En Sabah Nur's Wars of Succession, a
series of conflicts within his own ranks to determine who was truly
worthy to serve him. She was eventually killed by Holocaust who took her
place as Horseman (see comments).
(Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe: X-Men -
Age of Apocalypse 2005 I#1) - Candra's death resulted in the destruction
of New Orleans and the disbanding of the Thieves Guild, young Remy
LeBeau eventually joined up with the X-Men.

Considering Earth-295's divergence point
from Earth-616 is the death of Charles Xavier, this means that
technically Earth-295's Candra should largely have the same past as
her Earth-616 counterpart right up until she decided to join
Apocalypse when he started his war on humanity two decades earlier
than expected. However, since most of this has not (yet) been
confirmed on panel, it's not included in the profile.
Candra's death at the hands of Holocaust is mentioned in passing in Gambit
& the X-Ternals. However, it's not revealed whether nor
not she had the Heart
of Candra in this reality as well, which would have made
resurrecting her super easy, barely an inconvenience.
All locations mentioned are Earth-295, unless otherwise specified.
