THE CENTER FOR AGRICULTURAL FUTURISM

Classification: Terrestrial university building

Creator: Unrevealed, presumably someone at an unidentified Omaha, Nebraska university

User/Possessors: Dr. Peter Corbeau, Iron Man (Tony Stark), Mister Fantastic (Reed Richards), Scott Summers

First Appearance: X-Men: Marvels Snapshots#1 (November, 2020)

Powers/Abilities/Functions: The Center for Agricultural Futurism functioned as a typical university building. It was equipped with a large auditorium and stage for guest speakers and those attending such speeches.

History:
(X-Men: Marvels Snapshots#1 (fb) - BTS) - For its grand opening at a Omaha, Nebraska university Ag-Tech building, the Center for Agricultural Futurism arranged to have Dr. Reed Richards, Tony Stark and Peter Corbeau speak. The Center printed flyers advertising the grand opening

(X-Men: Marvels Snapshots#1) - Upon seeing youngster Scott Summers check on several books related to superheroes, a Nebraska librarian asked Scott if he was going to hear Reed Richards speak at the Center for Agricultural Futurism. Excited to meet the famous Mister Fantastic, Scott wrote down what he might say and a short time later, he arranged to be present during the speech at the Center. During the Center's opening, Scott impatiently listened to the speeches by Dr. Peter Corbeau and Tony Stark until Dr. Richards began his speech about the relationship of quantum physics and agriculture, noting that quantum physics might assist with optimizing planting cycles, plowing efficiently and keeping pests off crops. The speech was interrupted when crazed scientist Dr. Mantis attacked the Center for Agricultural Futurism, causing the ceiling to collapse as Richards went into action as Mister Fantastic. The battle ultimately wrecked much of the Center and Scott Summers and several other survivors of the battle were eventually pulled from the wreckage.

Comments: Created by Jay Edidin and Tom Reilly.

It was never outright stated which of the several Omaha, Nebraska universities housed the Center for Agricultural Futurism.

Given that the Center was wrecked during the story and we've never seen it in an additional story, it's possible it was never reopened. I'm sure the university reopened the Ag-Tech building that housed the Center but the Center itself may have never reopened.
