Powers/Abilities: Cloud People have no discernible powers beyond those of a human. Their average intelligence is slightly below that of a standard adult human. They can fall from thousands of feet without apparent injury, suggesting heightened durability and/or significantly reduced weight compared to humans.

Traits: Cloud People are ruled by a monarchy, easily confused yet somewhat carefree. Fairly simplistic, they soon trust strangers and have a penchant for headwear (that may denote governmental/social rank).

History:

(Comedy Comics I#23/7 (fb) - BTS) - Cloud People lived on a cloud (or clouds) that floated close to mountains near Comedy Comics Land. But a small group, including the Cloud King, fell off and landed on the Earth. Unable to get back up to their home, they took shelter in a large cave with an underground lake. With their lower intelligence, they were unable to formulate a constructive plan and distracted themselves with boat rides.

(Comedy Comics I#23/7) - Anthropomorphic buddies Floop the pup and Skilly Boo were exploring when they chanced upon an entrance to the same cave. Once the duo were inside, the Cloud People, initially confused, confronted them with the Cloud King abrasively telling them this was his domain. The King became upset when he explained the situation, so the duo offered to help by making a big balloon to carry them up. Floop "invented" a new type of balloon by tying light sheets together and around the wooden boat. Perched atop a small cliff, the Cloud People clambered aboard and a gust of wind carried them up and they cheerfully waved the animal duo farewell. But soon the boat went down again and got stuck in a tree. The King saw Floop and Skilly Boo, and called them over, but the pair just dashed off.
