GLASSHOUSE
Classification: Extraterrestrial floating base
Creator: Unrevealed
User/Possessors: The Twilight Court (Artur,
Bedivere, Bercilak, Galehaut, Lancelot, Parsifal, Mordred, Myrddin)
First Appearance: Avengers VIII#8 (February,
2024)
Powers/Abilities/Functions: The Glasshouse
functioned as an orbiting space station headquarters for the Twilight
Court. It was equipped with a gym big enough to handle intense sparring
battles between the members of the Twilight Court and large windows to
allow the Twilight Court to view the outside space around them. It is
built to withstand the intense pressures of space and likely possesses
many life support functions. It also houses gardens tended by Myrddin.
History:
(Avengers VIII#8 (fb)) - The Twilight Court's Galehaut and Lancelot
sparred against one another in the orbiting Glasshouse and afterwards,
the two opted to quench their thirst on some of Bedivere's ale but
Lancelot stopped to speak with their king, Artur. Bercilak and Bedivere
watched the proceedings until they were interrupted by the arrival of
Mordred, who brought word from Myrddin that they all would ride to war
against the time-traveler Kang.
Comments: Created by Jed MacKay and C.F. Villa.
Despite the Glasshouse being the
base of operations for the Twilight Court, who have several
appearances, it is (as of 4/21/2025) strangely only ever actually seen
in the flashback in Avengers VIII#8...maybe it was destroyed or something prior to the current day?
