History:
(X-Men V#9 (fb) - BTS) - Millennia ago, the Gu'Knoiss race was one of six hive species who were experimented
upon by the Black Judges, the secret science wing of the Accuser Corps of the interstellar Kree Empire. The purpose
of these experiments was to create a weaponized slave catalyst that would enable the Kree to seize control of their
entire societies and turn them into weapons that could be used to disrupt rival advanced civilizations.
(X-Men V#9 (fb) - BTS) - These experiments were authorized by the Supreme Intelligence for their potential use against the Skrulls, the Badoon, the Galadorians, the Shi'ar and the Cotati.
(X-Men V#9 (fb) - BTS) - The attempt by the Black Judges failed with the Gu'Knoiss due to their biological integrity, making it impossible for the Kree to ever use them as weapons.
(X-Men V#9 (fb) - BTS) - At some point, the Gu'Knoiss race became extinct, possibly as a result of the Kree experiments.
(X-Men V#9 (fb) - BTS) - The only known record of the Gu'Knoiss race exists in a report from the secret order of Black Judges to the Supreme Intelligence, a report that is classified for THE EYES OF THE SUPREMOR

The following is a reproduction of a text page from X-Men V#9 which contains the only known reference to the Gu'Knoiss race.
THE EYES OF THE SUPREMOR
RE: A report from the secret order of Black Judges regarding the creation of a weaponized slave catalyst for hive species.
POTENTIAL SEED SPECIES:
• Tal Ba-Rii.............[failure from process : extinct]
• Sidri......................[failure from mind structure]
• Scatter...................[success : minor]
• Phalanx.................[failure from adaptivity]
• Gu'Knoiss.............[failure from biological integrity : extinct]
• Brood....................[success : major]
Although it is known that the Kree first encountered the Brood about 8,000 years ago and that it subsequently took the Black Judges several hundred years of testing and design before they could present the Supreme Intelligence with a weapon (known as the King Egg) that would enable the Kree to seize control of that hive species, only minimal information about the experiments performed on the other five races has been revealed. As a result, there is no data available about when the Gu'Knoiss race was experimented upon or the nature of the experimental weaponized slave catalyst.
This lack of data also means that it cannot be confirmed that it was a failed Kree attempt to seize control of Gu'Knoiss society that led to that race's extinction.
No other information about the Gu'Knoiss race, including the location of their homeworld, their physical form or their civilization, has yet been revealed.
The Scatter, Sidri and Tal Ba-Rii each have existing profiles.
