(Paradise Island) was mysteriously murdered and when she crossed
over into the afterlife, she turned to the Greek gods for
help in returning to life to avenge her killer. Rejected on Mt. Olympus, Diana traveled to Hades, where she
traded her soul to return to life. Five years later, Diana returned to
Earth as a mystical hellspawn, only to find Themyscira in ruins
and the rest of the
Amazons dead. Discovering a tiny clue to the killer's origin, Diana was led to the
world of men.
(Wizard: The Guide to Comics I#71 - "Amalgamania: The Top 10 Amalgams 'Wizard' Wants to See") - Thirsting for the blood of her Amazonian sisters' killer, Diana became the mystic Hell's Angel as she continued her search for the murderer.

DC
characters are listed in bold blue type.
Amalgam
characters are listed in bold purple type.
To clarify, Amalgam Comics didn't really exist beyond those seen in the few DC/Marvel cross-overs. The titles you don't recognize are amalgams of similar Marvel and DC comics--Snood.
In case it's not obvious, Hell's Angel is an amalgamation of Image's Spawn (Al Simmons) and DC's Wonder Woman (Diana). Sure, this particular Amalgam has nothing to do with a Marvel character but she's part of the same article that gave us the other Amalgams from Earth-79733 so she warranted being covered here like the others. Most of the other Amalgams in the Wizard article (excepting also Witch Hunt) involved a Marvel character in some way.
Hell's Angel is the product of an article in Wizard: The Guide to Comics I#71 in which the staff of the magazine came up with their own ideas for amalgamated characters.
