History:
(X-Men '97: the Animated Series cartoon - "Bright Eyes" (fb) - BTS) - At an unrevealed moment in time the United States army build a top secret facility in the middle of a desert to hold the Hulk.
(X-Men: the Animated Series cartoon - "The Juggernaut Returns" - BTS) - When the mystically empowered Juggernaut broke into the Xavier Institute in search of revenge on Charles Xavier, a Danger Room simulation of the Hulk appeared to fight the Juggernaut. The simulation, however, was easily defeated by the Juggernaut who continued his rampage until human archeologist Eugene Turbot Weiderspan took the Ruby of Cyttorak for himself.
(Spider-Man: the Animated Series cartoon - "Night of the Lizard" - BTS) - Making his way into the sewers to capture the Lizard, Spider-Man complained to himself that heroes such as the Avengers, Fantastic Four and Defenders would never have to do the same. Parker then corrected himself, considering the Hulk would probably experience the same.
(Spider-Man: the Animated Series cartoon - "Partners in Danger - Chapter V: Partners" - BTS) - When Spider-Man was captured by Alistair Smythe while trying to free the Black Cat, she noted it would've been better to take superhero lessons from the Hulk instead of Spider-Man.
(X-Men '97 I#3 - BTS) - While fighting the Marauders in the streets, X-Man Morph used their shapeshifting abilities to turn into the Hulk and successfully defeated Riptide.
(X-Men '97: the Animated Series cartoon - "Bright Eyes" - BTS) - Struck with grief after the events of the Genoshan genocide, X-Man Rogue made her way to the top secret United States facility in the desert in search of Bolivar Trask, believing him to be responsible for the genocide. Inside of the facility, General Thunderbolt Ross reminded his men the facility had been build to hold the Hulk. The soliders, however, where in for a shock when Rogue managed to break into the facility through the roof.
(X-Men '97: the Animated Series cartoon - "Tolerance is Extinction - Part II" - BTS) - While facing the techno-organic Sentinel hybrid Bastion and his army of Sentinels, X-Man Morph used their shapeshifting abilities to turn into the Hulk. Whilst shouting "Morph Smash!" the X-Man destroyed many of the mutant-hunting Sentinels.
Comments: Created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby;
adapted by Gerry Conway, Stan Berkowitz, John Semper and Tokyo Movie Shinsha. (see Appearances list for full list of artists)
Although the Hulk of Earth-92131 has never been seen he seems to be well known within the superhuman community as Professor Charles Xavier, Morph, Spider-Man and the Black Cat all knew of the Hulk. It also seems likely that the top secret United States facility is the Los Diablos Missile Base located in New Mexico where Banner was transformed into the Hulk.
When, in 2015's Secret Wars, the Multiverse was destroyed following the incursions of planets it appeared as if Reality-92131 was drafted onto Battleworld as the Westchester domain. However, this has since been debunked. As such the reality seen in the two volumes of X-Men '92 (2015 and 2016-2017) now have their own reality-designation of Earth-15730. The X-Men '92: House of XCII (2022) series was inspired by both the animated series and Hickman's House of X run but is its own separate reality. The limited series X-Men '97 (2024), however, is Reality-92131 and bridges the gap between the original X-Men: The Animated Series cartoon and the new X-Men '97: The Animated Series cartoon.
