History:
(Care Bears#14/1) - Young Hugs Bear and Tugs Bear
rolled out Grams Bear's gingerbread dough (under her supervision) just
as Bedtime Bear and Wish Bear arrived, hoping for snacks before chores.
The two little bears rolled out the dough into the shape of a ninja for
fun and asked Wish Bear to turn it to life. The Ninja Bread Man sprang
alive and introduced himself. He then offered his services to the Care
Bears. But unseen, the devious Beastly, lackey of the nefarious
No-Heart, had been ordered to kidnap the new being and bring him back
to be turned evil for his master. As Ninja Bread Man sliced clouds
alone to make new building blocks for the Care Bears, Beastly tried
duping him into following, but the small ninja easily saw through the
ruse and dropped Beastly through a cut cloud. Later, the Ninja Bread
Man helped Bedtime Bear and Wish Bear trim the ragged edges of rainbows
and quickly captured Beastly nearby, who had returned sneakily. Ninja
Bread Man presented his prisoner to his friends, and then smeared
Beastly with chocolate icing and sent him home in humiliation as
punishment as the Care Bears watched on happily.
Comments: Created by Michael Gallagher, Howard Post, Jacqueline Roettcher.
Full physical stats are difficult to guess as his transition to sentience and movement is likely to have increased his mass, weight and other physical characteristics (eyes for eyesight, etc.).
Many of Marvel's Star titles sit in a gray area... Earth-616 or elsewhere?
Um... not sure how I feel about this one. An initial
funny name premise, but the character's introductory panel and design? Ouch.
