armored costume that enhances his already-superhuman strength and
agility. The suit also includes a cape that Prodigy can use to glide on
air currents.

History: (Spider-Verse I#2/5 (fb) - BTS)
- Earth-55343's Prodigy was recruited into the Multiversal Spider-Army to aid in
defeating Earth-001's vampiric Inheritors.
(Spider-Verse I#2/5)
- Prodigy joined numerous other Spider-totems on Earth-001's Loomworld
in a massive battle against the Inheritors.
(Spider-Man IV#2 (fb) - BTS) - At some point, Prodigy was
corrupted by Earth-616's Shathra the Spider-Wasp and transformed into
one of her insectoid servants alongside numerous other Spider-totems
from across the Multiverse.
(Spider-Man IV#2 (fb)) - When the Inheritor Morlun learned of the deaths of his family, he stormed Loomworld and founded Shathra sitting on the Loomworld throne, surrounded by the corrupted Prodigy and other transformed Spider-totems. Growing tired of fighting Prodigy and Shathra's other underlings, Morlun demanded to face Shathra herself, only to be easily overpowered by Shathra and forced to flee into the Multiverse.
(Spider-Man IV#2) - Surrounded by Prodigy and other corrupted
Spider-totems, Shathra sensed that the corrupted Miles Morales of
Earth-1610 was one of the last surviving Spider-totems in the
Multiverse.
(Spider-Man IV#3) - Still under
Shathra's thrall, Prodigy and numerous other corrupted Spider-totems
were sent to a temple in Delvadia, where Earth-616's Spider-Man and
other surviving Spider-totems were attempting to locate an artifact to
resurrect Earth-616's Spider-Woman (Jessica Drew). Prodigy participated
in a massive battle against the non-corrupted Spider-totems and during
the fight, the corrupted Earth-65 Spider-Woman stabbed Spider-Man-616
with a dagger that erased him from existence.
(Spider-Man IV#7) - After being
freed of Shathra's control, Prodigy joined all of the other freed
Spider-totems in a massive assault on Shathra, who absorbed the wasps
that had corrupted the Spider-totems into herself to grow to gigantic
size. Upon Shathra's defeat, Prodigy remained behind as the Reality-616
goddess Neith bestowed a new idol onto Earth-616's Arana, who used the
idol to restore Spider-Man-616 and others erased over the course of the
Spider-totems' battle with Shathra.

Prodigy's physical stats are based on Peter Parker of 616.
Prodigy was never actually identified by name in any of his appearances but one can assume he's called Prodigy, given that he is wearing armor identical to Earth-616's Peter Parker when he used the identity of Prodigy.
We don't
have 100% confirmation
that this particular Prodigy counterpart is Peter Parker beneath the
armor. We do know that it is a male and since Prodigy shows up with
several other
Spider-totems, it seems likely that it is a counterpart of Peter Parker
and not Ritchie Gillmore, who did not have spider-powers (though I
suppose one could argue this counterpart could be from a reality in
which Gillmore DID acquire spider-powers...). Whoever is
in the armor would at the very least be someone who had spider-powers.
Otherwise, he would not have been drawn into the war against the
Inheritors. I'd lean towards it being a Peter Parker counterpart who
kept the Prodigy identity that he only briefly used on Earth-616...
Regardless of who is in the armor, we are also not given an origin for this counterpart of Prodigy so we don't know if he gained powers by mutation, mutant genetics or some other form of empowerment or even how he acquired the armor...
