History:

(X-Men '97: The Animated Series cartoon - "Lifedeath - Part II" - BTS) - Ronan was chosen by the Supreme Intelligence to uphold and enforce the laws of the Kree Empire, ensuring justice and order within their vast territory. As an Accuser, Ronan was tasked with judging and punishing those violating Kree laws.

(X-Men '97: The Animated Series cartoon - "Lifedeath - Part II" (fb) - BTS) - The clash between the militaristic Kree Empire and the highly advanced Shi'ar Empire marked the onset of the Kree-Shi'ar War. Both empires, driven by expansionist ambitions, sought dominion over the galaxy. The Supreme Intelligence had gone into hiding as to avoid capture. Learnig the Supreme Intelligence had fled, Princess Deathbird and the Imperial Guard set out to locate the embodiment of the collective consciousness and leadership of the Kree Empire.

(X-Men '97: The Animated Series cartoon - "Lifedeath - Part II") - While leading a fleet of Kree ships, Ronan came under attack by Deathbird, famed for her volatile temperament. Seemingly unimpressed with the Shi'ar princess, Ronan told his men the pigeon wouldn't thwart the will of the Supreme Intelligence and used his Universal Weapon to fire at Deathbird. However, moments later the powerful Imperial Guard arrived and easily gained the upper hand, taking down Ronan's army of Kree soldiers while Deathbird defeated the Accuser herself. Defeated, Deathbird interrogated Ronan as Vulcan used his powers to hold several Kree soldiers at gunpoint forcing them to watch. However, before Deathbird could act upon her threat a Badoon messenger appeared with news of the empire as Empress Lilandra announced she would marry the Terran known as Professor Charles Xavier. Deathbird and the Imperial Guard returned to Chandilar, Ronan's fate remains unrevealed.

Comments: Created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby;

Ronan was voiced by Todd Haberkorn who also voiced Sebastian Shaw in the same series.

When, in 2015's Secret Wars, the Multiverse was destroyed following the incursions of planets it appeared as if Reality-92131 was drafted onto Battleworld as the Westchester domain. However, this has since been debunked. As such the reality seen in the two volumes of X-Men '92 (2015 and 2016-2017) now have their own reality-designation of Earth-15730. The X-Men '92: House of XCII (2022) series was inspired by both the animated series and Hickman's House of X run but is its own separate reality. The limited series X-Men '97 (2024), however, is Reality-92131 and bridges the gap between the original X-Men: The Animated Series cartoon and the new X-Men '97: The Animated Series cartoon.
