Wizard: The Guide to Comics I#71 - "Amalgamania: The Top 10 Amalgams 'Wizard' Wants to See" (fb) - BTS) - High school student Peter Palmer attended a science exposition on white dwarf star radiation and during the event, he was bitten by a spider irradiated by the radioactive rays. After gaining the proportionate powers of a spider and the ability to shrink down in size, Palmer learned that with great power came great responsibility.

(Wizard: The Guide to Comics I#71 - "Amalgamania: The Top 10 Amalgams 'Wizard' Wants to See") - With his newfound powers and sense of responsibility, Peter Palmer remained a high school student by day and spent his nights patrolling the streets of Manhattan as the spectacular crimefighter Spider-Mite.

Marvel characters
are listed in regular, bold black type.
DC characters are listed in bold blue type.
Amalgam characters are listed in bold purple type.

To clarify, Amalgam Comics didn't really exist beyond those seen in the few DC/Marvel cross-overs. The titles you don't recognize are amalgams of similar Marvel and DC comics--Snood.

In case it's not obvious, Spider-Mite is an amalgamation of Marvel's Spider-Man (Peter Parker) and DC's Atom (Ray Palmer).

Spider-Mite is the product of an article in Wizard: The Guide to Comics I#71 in which the staff of the magazine came up with their own ideas for amalgamated characters.

Spider-Mite's eye color was impossible to determine, as he was only ever seen with a mask on.

Personally, I'd love to see this character show up, even if only a cameo, in one of the Spider-Verse stories!

The image of Earth-79733 is literally just a cropped shot from the Dark Knight image in the Wizard article. There weren't really any great shots of Earth-79733 as a whole, only bits & pieces of it in the art for the various Earth-79733 characters...but I suppose any image is better than none at all!

CLARIFICATIONS:
Earth-79733's Spider-Mite
should be distinguished from:

Earth-79733

Earth-79733 was a reality in which many residents appeared to be amalgamated versions of individuals from other realities. It was home to several superheroes including Spider-Mite, Supermanta, Dark Knight, Witch Hunt, Hell's Angel and Wild Card as well as many villains including the monstrous Armageddon, terrorist Ra's al Doom, psychotic Asylum and costumed assassin Blade Runner. Its planet Earth included the Asia continent and underwater continent Atlantis, as well as nations Latveria, Themyscira and the United States of America (which itself included the cities of Manhattan and New Orleans). Reality-79733 was once also home to the doomed distant planet Krypton.
