Powers/Abilities: Lord Arno possesses the ability to breathe and speak underwater and survive the ocean's pressure. He possesses various Atlantean weapons, including energy guns.
History: (Avengers I#154) - Lord Arno was sent by Attuma to assist him in gathering the Avengers so that they could be sent against the Sub-Mariner. His ship came across the Vision in the Pacific Ocean, and his men Gort and Mako brought down the Vision with sound waves. Arno presented the Vision to Attuma and outfitted him with an atomo-collar to control him.
(Avengers I#155) - Lord Arno joined Attuma in an assault upon a sealab where a chloro-beam was being tested to increase the growth of underwater plant life. They were opposed by the Whizzer, Wonder Man and the Beast, and were defeated.
(Avengers Annual#18) - During the events of "Atlantis Attacks," Lord Arno was dispatched by Attuma to the Shoreham Nuclear Plant, leading an army of Atlantean soldiers, as well as Orka. When the Black Panther, Mr. Fantastic, Invisible Woman and She-Hulk arrived on the scene, Lord Arno sent Orka to fight them, but She-Hulk and the Black Panther swiftly defeated him. No match for the Avengers without Orka, Lord Arno retreated with his forces.
