Powers/Abilities: King Carelius was an aged man, with some skill in leadership.

History:
(Avengers I#23 (fb) - BTS) - King Carelius' kingdom was one of the last on Earth to fall before Kang the Conqueror, although its people maintained a spirit of resistance. Carelius was allowed to remain as king, but was a mere puppet to Kang.

(Avengers I#23) - Kang confronted Carelius and Ravonna at their kingdom, and offered Ravonna the chance to rule alongside him. Ravonna refused him, and Carelius cautioned her to not incur his wrath. After Kang brought the Avengers to their time and defeated them before Carelius' castle to demonstrate his worthiness. Ravonna again spurned him, even as Carelius observed that to do so meant that Kang's armies would come to crush their kingdom. The Avengers stood alongside Carelius and Ravonna as Kang summoned his armies.

(Avengers I#24) - Carelius assisted the Avengers as they led his people against Kang's forces. Kang captured Ravonna, but faced mutiny within his own ranks from Baltag as a result, leading to Kang forging a brief alliance with the Avengers and Carelius in order to defeat his own men. After they had seemingly been beaten, Baltag attempted to kill Kang, but struck down Ravonna instead.
