Powers/Abilities: Oliver Denton was a mutant genius capable of creating all sorts of technical wonders. His powers manifested earlier than many mutants.
History: (Slapstick#2) - Oliver's eighth birthday party was held at a fast food restaurant in a mall. There, the other children's rowdy behavior annoyed Steve Harmon, who became Slapstick and ruined the party. Later, Oliver swore to get revenge.
(Slapstick#3) - One night, while his parents were away, Oliver activated an android he had constructed, called Teddy. Calling himself Doctor Denton, Conquerer of Worlds, he had Teddy kidnap his babysitter Barb Halsey and get rid of her boyfriend Vinnie. When Slapstick arrived, Denton had Teddy capture him. He began experimenting on Slapstick, but when he tried electrocuting him, Slapstick's strength increased and he was able to break free. In his attack Slapstick broke the device that Denton used to control Teddy and the robot went on a mindless rampage. Denton agreed to temporarily aid Slapstick against the common foe and kept Slapstick electrified as long as he could. After Slapstick had triumphed, he spanked Oliver, whose parents soon arrived home and scolded him for building androids in the house. They told him to clean his room and grounded him from performing particle physics experiments for the rest of the month.

Oliver should not be confused with:
Teddy was a powerful android created by Oliver Denton when he planned to conquer the world. During a fight with Slapstick, the remote that controlled Teddy was broken and Teddy went on a rampage (quote: "Teddy win fight -- get babes"). Teddy was ultimately destroyed when Slapstick shoved a wrench down his throat.
