Faze is surprised by the Black Cat, before being pulled off the helicopterHistory:
(Felicia Hardy: The Black Cat#1 - BTS) - Faze was hired by the Cobalt Chemical Corporation to find Chimera and to protect project "First Strike".

(Felicia Hardy: The Black Cat#1) - Faze was on a yacht of the Cobalt Chemical Corporation and intervened to stop the Black Cat from stealing data on the project "First Strike". He phased through a wall and confronted the Black Cat, followed by his Mechabytes.

(Felicia Hardy: The Black Cat#2) - Thanks to his intangibility and his Mechabytes, Faze avoided the Black Cat attacks, but he couldn't take the CD containing a virus that was erasing the security system. Faze become tangible and caught the Black Cat's neck, but she activated the auto-destruction of the yacht and scratched him. Faze ran away, not knowing if his powers were good enough to protect him from such an explosion.
    Faze got on the helicopter of the yacht. He ordered the pilot to go to Morelle Pharmaceutics where he had to find the Chimera, but the pilot (the Black Cat in disguise) threw him out the helicopter in the sea.
    He remained in the sea, waiting for the Coast Guard who had been called by the Black Cat.

The Mechabytes remind me some mechanical insects used by the criminal in the movie "Runaway", with Tom Selleck.

Faze's Mechabytes are little robots (10-20cm.) with six legs, similar to insects. He can use them to explore, find informations, repair and auto-repair, distract and/or attack enemies, and a variety of other tasks.

The Mechabytes managed to excavate in a wall of the yacht, but they weren't a real threat for the Black Cat. A reserve of Mechabytes were contained in the Faze's case thrown in the sea by the Black Cat.
