FIRST-STRIKERS
Membership: "Magenta", "brown", "green", "red".
Identity/Class: Cyborg
Purpose: Survive, kill, self-reparation
Affiliations: Morelle Pharmaceuticals
Enemies: Paul Proust, Cardiac, Black Cat
Base of Operations: Morelle Pharmaceutics, New York, New York
First Appearance: Black Cat#2 (August, 1994)
Powers/Abilities: They have enhanced strength, superior to athlete level. Good speed and reflexes; good invulnerability, the Black Cat's claws didn't cut their "service" tubes. Self-reparation from all the damages, but the damages inflicted from other First-Strikers.
History:
(Black Cat#1 (fb) - BTS) - The Morelle Pharmaceutics developed a project to
cybernetically empower four humans. The four subjects were conserved in four
tubes in the Cryogenic Cell in the Vivisection Laboratory of the Morelle
Pharmaceutics building in New York.
(Black Cat#1) - Cardiac tried to destroy the building of the project, but was stopped by Spider-Man and the Black Cat.
(Black Cat#2) - The four cyborgs were awakened by the Black Cat. They started to perform their primary directive: self-security, and to do so tried to kill the Black Cat. Felicia managed to pull the big "Red" cyborg on the other three. Probably the smash damaged the "Magenta" cyborg, who remained down.
(Black Cat#3) - The other three cyborgs renewed their attacks,
but had to fight Cardiac, too. The "Green" cybrog was hit by a
blast of Cardiac's Beta-Stick, but it self-repaired in few seconds and succeeded in hitting Cardiac. The
"Brown" cyborg said his first word after the hybernation:
"Kill"!
The "Brown" cyborg scratched the Black Cat, but the heroine pulled the
cyborg on the "Red" one slashing him. The "Red" cyborg could
not repair the damage and fell. Then, Cardiac and the Black Cat had the other
two cyborgs knock themselves out. Immediately afterwards, a self-destruct countdown
started in the complex, Cardiac shot at the computer panels, hoping to destroy
all the data about the Project: First-Strike.
The "Red" cyborg called for help, the Black Cat and Cardiac
managed to put the cyborgs and the personnel of the Laboratory in safe before
the lab
exploded.
Comments: Created by Terry Kavanagh/Jerry Cavalieri, Andrew Wildman and Stephen Baskerville.
The cyborgs had a directive in their programming: when they were hit by one of their own, they went on "tilt." Their names are unknown so I used the colors of their shirts to distinguish them.
Clarifications:
The Project: First Strike has no known connections to
