History: (Captain America I#354)- In order to test the effectiveness of the U.S. Agent, General Lewis Haywerth obtained a suit of Iron Monger armor from Stane International, and employed a Guardsman to wear the armor in a test against the U.S. Agent. The Guardsman was overconfident at first, not realizing how experienced the U.S. Agent was, and proved unable to hit him with his laser attacks. The Agent cunningly set off the room's sprinklers to douse the Guardsman's Iron Monger armor, then used live electrical wires to short out the armor. The Guardsman was left in poor physical condition after the ordeal, and received immediate medical attention.
