CALIBUR
Membership: Cap'n Saxonia, the Hulk, Iron Fist, Spider-Girl, Strange
Purpose: To defend Earth and the British Isles
Affiliations: Presumably allied with the [Captain Britain] Corps
Enemies: Keng
Base of Operations: Earth-924
First Appearance: Excalibur I#49 (April, 1992)
History:
(Excalibur I#49) - The Caliburian's battle with Keng was
interrupted as the combatants found themselves briefly transported to the
lighthouse HQ of the Excalibur of Earth-616 during a crosstime flux. They
initially blamed Keng for this maneuver, but he pleaded innocence.
(Uncanny X-Men I#462) - Hulk, Spider-Girl and Strange from Calibur were seen when the "House of M" reality warp went through Otherworld.
Comments: Calibur created by Alan Davis.
The Caliburians speak an antiquated British dialect, including those heroes whose counterparts on Earth-616 are American.
Strange may be a direct female counterpart to the Earth-616 version
(Stephanie Strange?), an heir of sorts (Clea, possibly?), a counterpart to
Arcanna Jones of Earth-S, or someone else entirely.
flat-chested female or just a male with a really strange hairstyle. You decide!--Markus Raymond
Spider-Girl may have a connection to the counterpart Betty Brant/Spider-Girl as seen in What If I#7, or be someone else entirely.
The Hulk and Iron Fist are presumably direct counterparts to the Bruce Banner and Daniel Rand of Earth-616.
The relationship of Keng to the Council of Cross-Time Kangs is unknown. There's no reason to assume Keng is native to Earth-924 as Kangs originated from Earth-6311 (Other Earth) and then diverged at some point thereafter...unless it was someone else who usurped Kang's identity.
