(Werewolf by Night I#7 (fb)) - Mige was part of the Calliope's Carnival and Circus
and enjoyed the life in the Circus. One day Swami Rihva and
his followers joined to the Circus, accordingly with Calliope, for the
search of the blood a supernatural being to aid in the search for the treasure of
Kaman-Ru.
(Werewolf by Night I#6) - Mige observed Werewolf in Swami Rihva's globe. Rihva wanted the monster, Mige said yes but he actually thought that the monster would have destroyed their life. Rihva slapped him after having read his thoughts and his lies.
(Werewolf by Night I#6 - BTS) - Mige and the Circus moved to Los Angeles.
(Werewolf by Night I#6) - 26 days later, Swami Rihva captured Jack Russell, hypnotizing him. The mystic presented Jack to the people of the Circus and entrusted Mige and his friend Elmo with Jack. They brought Jack to a cage. Despite Jack being hypnotized, he didn't want to enter in the cage. Then Mige's anger drove him to whip Jack. Elmo hold the little tamer and then the two brought the cage in the tent to be shown as a Circus attraction.
That night, during the show, Mige saw Werewolf assaulting
Calliope and whipped the monster. He accused the Werewolf of being trouble but Swami Rihva stopped him. The mystic said that if he have had to do a choice between
Mige and the monster, Mige would have lost.
This increased Mige's hatred of Werewolf. Mige freed the Werewolf,
thinking he would have run away from the Circus, but the Werewolf attacked him.
Mige drove him back with his whip, then lured the monster in the cage of the
lions.
(Werewolf by Night I#7) - The lions attacked the
Werewolf. Elmo intervened and defended the Werewolf. Immediately after Swami Rhiva
entered and his powers tranquilized the beasts. Mige tried to lie, but Rihva
understood what happened and hit him again.
The following night, Swami Rihva prepared the rite for
extraction of the blood of the Werewolf; all the circus troupe was present.
Instead, Rihva tried to kill Werewolf so Elmo, being moved to pity, stopped him. Mige,
enraged, shot at the giant again and again, Elmo tried to stop the little one,
grabbed him in a strong grip, and broke his spine. The two friends died. The
Werewolf freed himself and the Blood Stone was lost once again.
Comments: Created by Len Wein, Mike Ploog and Frank Bolle.
I believe that Mige was still in the Circus when Rihva, Elmo, the "Executioner" and probably other "freaks" added to the Circus' rosters.
