(Slapstick#1) - Overkiller was driving on a New Jersey highway when his mutant detector picked up the existance of a mutant in the town of Plainview and made his way there finally going to get his vengeance.
(Slapstick#2) - Overkiller used his mutant detecting equipment to track the mutant to a mall. There, he found Slapstick terrorizing small children and assumed he was the mutant. He attacked Slapstick, not listening to his claims that he wasn't a mutant. The two had a highly destructive fight through the mall which ended when Slapstick kissed Overkiller on the nose. Afraid of getting mutant cooties, Overkiller was distracted and Slapstick knocked him out. Overkiller was then webbed up by Spider-Man, who left him for authorities.
Comments: Created by Len Kaminsky, James Fry III and Terry Austin
The X-Men mission in Dallas was the one from Uncanny X-Men#227, in which the team was apparently killed.
The actual mutant that Overkiller detected was Oliver Denton -- it was his birthday party that Slapstick disrupted.
