Powers/Abilities: Shatterhead had a mutated pineal gland that let him create a neural spike from his forehead. This spike could incapacitate a foe with feelings of intense pain. Shatterhead was also a skilled hand-to-hand combatant.
History: (Elektra I#4 (fb) - BTS) - Shatterhead was summoned to New York City by the Architect, who was orchestrating a series of battles between super-powered assassins to see which one of them was fit to kill him.
(Elektra I#4) - Shatterhead was assigned to fight the Killer Shrike. Elektra interrupted their highly destructive battle in the East Village. Shatterhead stopped Elektra cold with his neural spike, but chose to flee rather than kill her because he thought she was attractive.
(Elektra I#7) - Shatterhead was waiting in Blacklash's hotel room, hoping to bushwhack his competition. Instead Blacklash's wife Trudi Scarlotti arrived at the hotel, and Shatterhead tortured and murdered her. Another battle of assassins took place in New York's subway system, and Shatterhead was fighting Elektra when Blacklash appeared. Blacklash knew what Shatterhead did to his wife, so he showed no mercy, snapping Shatterhead's neck with his whip, instantly killing him.
