Powers/Abilities: Spinxh is approximately 57 meters long and 20 meters high and proportionally strong (presumably Class 100). His body is presumably made of living stone.

History:
(Incredible Hulk II#145 (fb) - BTS) - Centuries ago, when man worshipped the Heliopolitans (Egyptian Gods), the Horusians landed on the Earth and planted the seeds of the Colossus and Sphinx. Then they left.

(Incredible Hulk II#145) - Centuries after, the Horusians came back on the Earth to attend to a very great fight, so they awakened the two opponents: the Colossus and the Sphinx.

As Sphinx was rising, Bruce Banner used the Horusians' Cerebro-Destruct-Mechanism Helmet to nullify the life force of Sphinx, which again became an inanimate statue of stone. So, the great fight was ruined, and the Horusians went back in the space, abandoning the Colossus on the Earth.

The necropolis of Ghizeh belongs to the Ancient Reign (2735-2195 B.C.) so the Horusians arrived on the Earth presumably before this time.

See the Clarifications, but I believe there are at least 4 origins for the Egyptian Sphinx statue/monolith. Maybe we'll try to weave them into a coherent whole at some point.
