(Marvel Comics Presents#5/4) - One night Freddy was found with a broken arm by Daredevil who immediately got him an ambulance. Freddy told Daredevil that somebody wanted to kill and Daredevil gave him Matt Murdock's card. The next day Rick came into Murdock's Paralegal Clinic in Hell's Kitchen and showed Murdock a police sketch and two threats of Rick who was trying to kill him. Freddy wanted a gun to protect himself, but Murdock first wanted to talk with Freddy's parents. They weren't at home so Murdock accompanied Freddy on his way home. There Freddy found another threat from Rick and after starting a tape Freddy got a call from Rick. Murdock heard the disguised voice and now tried to find Rick as Daredevil. Around that time Freddy tried to call Murdock, but he wasn't available at the Paralegal Clinic. Freddy knew that Rick was coming back and searched for a gun. He found one in his father's drawer and was now ready for Rick. Meanwhile Daredevil found out who Rick really was and he immediately returned to Freddy's apartment to stop Freddy from killing himself. Daredevil managed to stop Freddy whose second personality was Rick.
