History: (X-Men Millennial Visions 2001 - "Alpha Flight: Project Epsilon" (fb) - BTS) - In 2012 AD, the Canadian government ordered Department H to shut down due to accusations of genetic engineering. When Department H refused to shut down, the Canadian Parliament ordered S.H.I.E.L.D. to attack Alpha Flight, leaving most of its members dead. Shaman and Snowbird, together with the survivors, managed to escape into the otherworldly dimension of Qwrrl, where they found the dimension in the middle of an invasion by the alien Plodex race, led by former Alpha Flight member Marrina. Puck was the only Alpha Flight member to survive the Plodex assault, escaping back to Earth in a stolen spaceship. Landing in Alaska, Puck contacted two members of the top secret Epsilon Flight, Redbird and Nanook. The threesome avoided S.H.I.E.L.D. and made their way to the ruins of Department H, where they activated one of James Hudson's androids called Gamma. Redbird, Nanook, and Gamma then departed for space, with Puck remaining on Earth to guide the team via Gamma's tech link. In space, the three heroes found the dying Silver Surfer (who had been wounded by Galactus), who aided the team by providing them with a small super-powered creature called Goldensnow.

 (X-Men Millennial Visions 2001 - "Alpha Flight: Project Epsilon") - With Goldensnow in tow, the team came to be known as the new Alpha Flight and set about to save Qwrrl and warn Earth about the Plodex.

GAMMA

An android created by James MacDonald Hudson, Gamma remained inactive until Puck, Redbird, and Nanook found it in the ruins of Department H. Puck quickly uploaded an artificial intelligence into the android, giving it sentience and allowing it to aid them against both S.H.I.E.L.D. and the Plodex invasion.

Gamma had the ability to link with technological systems.

GOLDENSNOW

Goldensnow was an artificial being created by the dying Silver Surfer, who gave it ample powers to aid Alpha Flight against the Plodex invasion. It was named by Nanook, who noticed its similarity to the fallen Alpha Flight member Snowbird.

Its powers were not revealed.

NANOOK

Nanook was a member of the top secret Epsilon Flight. The daughter of an ordinary Eskimo and a Northern Goddess, Nanook had undefined abilities. She was contacted by Puck to join a new Alpha Flight in hopes of defending Earth from a Plodex invasion. When the group was given Goldensnow by the Silver Surfer, Nanook was one to name it, noticing it similarity to the fallen Alpha Flight member Snowbird.

REDBIRD

Redbird was the daughter of Shaman and Snowbird, who had joined the top secret Epsilon Flight. She was sought out by Puck to join the new Alpha Flight and help defend Earth from a Plodex invasion led by the former Alpha Flight member Marrina. Redbird then joined the team into space, where they found the dying Silver Surfer, who presented them with Goldensnow.

Redbird had undefined abilities.
