(Marvel Fanfare I#14/2) - Aven was the Keeper of the Royal Sceptre in the ceremonies to honor the Inhumans' Royal House. It filled him with pride to participate in such an honorable role, but the sceptre was stolen from him by Aireo. Aven wanted to die because he had failed. When Gorgon and Karnak came to Aven's aid he could only tell them that the thief was fast and that he wore a blue costume.

Everybody suspected Quicksilver, but the former Avenger revealed the true thief and saved the sceptre. It is unknown whether the sceptre was returned to Aven's keeping or if the old Inhuman really died.
