(Blade I#2) - Morbius and her parents had an argument in front of the house when Charisma left again with her baby. Morbius asked her why she looked so unhealthy, but Charisma's answer was that she didn't look as unhealthy as he did. Charisma left and didn't tell her father where she was going at 11 o'clock in the night. (Blade I#2 - BTS) - Charisma returned home with the baby. (Blade I#3) - Charisma left again with the baby even though her father didn't want to let her go. Morbius followed her again, but they were watched by Blade and Dominique Levant. She laid her baby on the ground and attacked Morbius with her purse. Morbius grabbed her, but lost hold when she kept on fighting him. Charisma jumped to her baby, took it and the drugs and ran away. She passed Blade, ran into a parked car and continued her retread when Morbius came after her. When she saw the St. Charles Streetcar she stopped it and asked the driver to get her as fast as possible away from Blade and Morbius. At the market place she told the driver to let her off. There she ran to her father followed by Morbius and Blade.

Since he was doing business through Dominique Levant with Xavier Rath he could eat at Rath's restaurant for a lower price. Nine months after his first grandchild was born by his teenage daughter Charisma, the former boyfriend of his wife's cousin Martine Bancroft visited Newton's family to help their daughter. (Blade I#2 (fb) ) - One night Newton went with his family to Rath's restaurant. Newton's mood changed when Morbius came to them and lost his temper. They stayed friends until their lives were separated when they grew older. Since then she only talked to her on the phone once or twice a year.
