Powers/Abilities: Dr. Tannenbaum is an inventive genius who builds weapons in a Christmas/winter season motif to commit his crimes, some of which included a giant robot snowman and living Christmas trees.
History:
(GLX-Mas Special#1) - One year later on Christmas Eve, Dr. Tannenbaum issued a challenge to the GLX through the robot snowman's head. They went to meet him at Topps X-Mas Tree Grotto in Muskego, and he revealed his sinister plot: He had sold animated Christmas foliage to homes all across Muskego and planned to make an all-out attack using it. The GLX defeated some of the living Christmas trees by trimming them with excessive decorations (which weighed them down and rendered them immobile), then Mr. Immortal used one of the shop's flocking guns to stop Dr. Tannenbaum and the rest of the trees. As Dr. Tannenbaum was taken into police custody, Mr. Immortal made a TV appearance advising people to keep their Christmas trees overly decorated and not to throw them out until they were good and dead (maybe until February, or March, to play it safe).
(Deadpool/GLI Summer Fun Spectacular#1/1 - BTS) - Dr. Tannenbaum's secret base/summer hide-out was taken over by AIM agents who used it in their plot to use the power of the Greek god Dionysus to create an Inebriation Wave to put the heroes of Earth in a drunken stupor. Dr. Tannenbaum was bound and gagged and locked in a cleaning supplies store room.
(Deadpool/GLI Summer Fun Spectacular#1/1) - The Great Lakes Initiative and Deadpool (all immune to the effects of the Inebriation Wave) stormed the base and found the captured Dr. Tannenbaum, but left him as they went on to address the more immediate threat -- presumably Dr. Tannenbaum was later turned over to the authorities.
Comments: Created by Dan Slott and Georges Jeanty.
"Tannenbaum" is German for "Christmas tree", although it could possibly be his real name.
A flocking gun is an air-pressure gun used to spray a coating over a Christmas tree to give it the simulated appearance of being lightly frosted with newly fallen snow.

Built in the shape of a snowman, this armored metal juggernaut was propelled by tank treads and fired candy cane missiles. It attacked a small suburb in Muskego and killed Mr. Immortal (don't worry, he got better), but was stopped when Big Bertha punched its head off. The head was placed in the GLA's trophy room.

Living pine trees that were sold to homes all across Muskego from Topps X-Mas Tree Grotto, which could be animated by Dr. Tannenbaum for his schemes. They could be rendered immovable by weighing them down with excessive decorations.
Dr. Tannenbaum's evil foliage also included holly, mistletoe, and wreaths.
